Parameters:
Using the same quote and typeface family for each layout, every step of this typographic project provided us with a different set of rules. Some steps allowed us to play with various type sizes and weights, while others required us to rely on the typeface as is. Each layout required the use of the quote in its entirety, and allowed us to play with leading, tracking and kerning. For the final step (seen below), we were encouraged to introduce lines, shapes, colors, as well as eliminating parts of the quote if we wished.
